Emile Weber
Voyages Emile Weber is one of the country's leading passenger transport operators (buses, school buses, transport for people with reduced mobility, taxis, and tourism). The company is focusing on electromobility and the digitalization of its services, with a large fleet and diversified activities in mobility and travel. It has signed an agreement with Pony.ai to deploy robotaxis in Luxembourg.

Pony.ai
Pony.ai is an autonomous driving company active in robotaxis, robot trucks, and solutions for private vehicles, with operations in China, the United States, and Europe. It commercially operates driverless robotaxis in several major Chinese cities and is industrializing its system on a large scale. In Luxembourg, its European subsidiary is leading the deployment and testing of robotaxis.

Technoport
Technoport is Luxembourg's long-established technology incubator. It offers accommodation, coaching, network access, and prototyping facilities (FabLab) across two sites, totaling approximately 16,000 m² of infrastructure. Its mission targets private startups, research spin-offs, and R&D units of foreign companies wishing to establish themselves in the Grand Duchy.

Tesla FSD testing
Tesla's FSD is an SAE Level 2 driver assistance system, which therefore requires active driver supervision. It operates in "vision-only" mode using cameras and neural networks, trained on data from the company's numerous personal vehicles. Tesla is preparing FSD-based robotaxi services, with pilot programs announced in the United States (Austin, Texas and San Francisco).

This project is supported by EIT Urban Mobility, an initiative of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), a body of the European Union. EIT Urban Mobility acts to accelerate positive change on mobility to make urban spaces more liveable.
