It currently operates robotaxi fleets in Beijing, Guangzhou, Shanghai, and Shenzhen, as well as autonomous trucks on highways using a platooning system, where a vehicle with a safety driver is followed by unmanned vehicles.

The GICC is a central infrastructure that oversees and manages the deployment and operation of autonomous vehicles in the city. It plays a crucial role in data collection, traffic management, and ensuring the safety of autonomous vehicles operating within the pilot zone.
